First Presbyterian Church of Petaluma is looking for a part-time Director of Youth Ministry with a strong Christian faith and passion to help youth grow. Join forces with our active volunteer team to provide lively ministry with Junior and Senior High youth.

Highlights:
- Lead, equip and share ministry with volunteer staff; Recruit and provide training.
- Coordinate and lead weekly programs
- Coordinate special events for outreach, fellowship or mission.
- Develop JH Sunday School class and SH small group Bible studies.
- Lead outreach to public school campuses; we are a few blocks away from high school
- Coordinate and help plan the summer mission trip
- Participate in worship; Work with pastor and other church staff to fulfill the overall mission of the church
- This position is 20 hours per week, and includes Sundays, $16 to $22 per hour depending on your qualifications and experience. Health benefits may also be available.
Qualifications & Benefits:
- Strong Christian background
- Three years in church youth ministry
- Two years of college, including four classes (or equivalent) in ministry training/Bible in college or seminary.

First Presbyterian Church of Petaluma is looking for a full-time Director for our preschool and extended care center: Happy Day Presbyterian School. Happy Day offers a balanced curriculum emphasizing developmental academic excellence, as children learn to live with faith, hope and love in a caring Christian community. Happy Day is a Mentor School with a 30 + year reputation of providing safe and loving care for children. Salary is based on ECE education and experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- Teaching, leadership, and administration experience, preferably in a Christian preschool.
- Education and employment qualifications for Director set out in Title 22, including specified 12 units of early childhood education classes for teaching.
- Christian faith and maturity; active church membership.
- Effective interpersonal relationships and communication with school staff and parents.
- Partnership with church staff and oversight committees.
- Continued education, spiritual, and personal growth.
