SUNDAY SCHOOL
We are now following our regular Fall schedule in Sunday School. In order for you to best choose which class best fits your child’s needs, please review our Sunday School overview:
9:00 Service (Children go directly to Sunday School)
Preschool/Kindergarten:
Our “Sonshine Kids” classroom is located in the Discovery Room.
During this hour, My Great Big God curriculum will help these young children grow more aware of God’s love, care and help in their everyday lives. Young children have unique needs, and their understanding of the world is limited. The most effective method of learning for this age group is through play. My Great Big God will give each child a chance to actively explore Bible truths in ways that involve the whole child. They will discover ways to do what they have learned in class, so Bible truths are applied in ways that have real meaning for their lives.
1st through 3rd graders:
Our “Kingdom Kids” classroom is located in the CE Wing, 1st bay.
Prime Time curriculum focuses on this age group’s emerging reading skills by helping children explore Bible stories and verses that they are able to understand and recall. Kids will explore what it means to be a Christian, living what you believe, and making smart choices. Using games, art, storytelling and other activities we strive to help these kids become wholehearted followers of Jesus.
4th through 6th graders:
“The Edge” classroom is located in the CE Wing, 3rd bay.
The Edge is designed to build a strong foundation of faith that will enable students to live as Jesus wants them to, even in the face of peer pressure. These “tweens” will explore the deeper questions that come after learning bible stories, such as “So what? How do these stories and lessons apply to my own life? And what am I going to do with that knowledge?”

10:30 Service (Children begin in the service and go to Sunday School after Discovery Time)
Preschool/Kindergarten:
Our “Sonshine Kids” classroom is located in the Discovery Room.
During this hour, My God and Me curriculum will help these young children grow more aware of God’s love, care and help in their everyday lives.
1st through 6th graders:
Our “Kids Church” classroom is located in the CE Wing, 1st bay.
This combined – age group allows big kids and little kids to learn to work together. Kids Church is like a family in which kids naturally learn with and from one another as kids, whether older or younger, help one another throughout their time together. Kids Church is a fun, interactive hour designed to empower kids and encourage them to put their faith in action. While kids keep coming back for the fun, we can accomplish our mission by continuing to nurture and teach them spiritually.
