Mission and Outreach
First Presbyterian Church supports many projects and ministries through our presbytery and various local agencies. We cannot easily or practically go to some of the places where we want to minister. So we give generously to support the work of mission workers in our area and beyond through regular and special offerings.
Here are a few agencies, from our Ministry and Mission brochure.
Petaluma Food Pantry (Carol Goodrich, coordinator)
We work with the United Church of Christ in a new program to
feed over 35 families a week with food purchased from our local Food Bank!
We collect non-perishable food Sundays for the pantry. Can you help distribute food one Saturday per month from 9:00 am -Noon?
Food for Families / COTS- Committee On The Shelterless. Every Saturday morning, a caravan of drivers take boxes of food to
deserving families in Petaluma! If you can devote a few hours a month to
help with these deliveries, please sign up!
